Ten Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) teachers from the Division of Bacoor City consider themselves lucky to be given the opportunity to participate in the One-Semester Training Workshop on Construction Drawings and Applications of Advance AUTOCAD to be held from June 18, 2016 to October 25, 2016 at the College of Architecture and Fine Arts, Technological University of the Philippines (TUP), Manila.
Supporting the division's program and projects, the said training was sponsored by the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP- Manila Alcadia Chapter), and the College of Architecture and Fine Arts of the Technological University of the Philippines, Manila Campus.
The said training is the part 3 of the series of training conducted by TUP Manila under the initiative of Professor Pablo G. Pilar, Jr.. The first one was conducted in October 2015, the second one in April this year. These trainings are given for free to all the Technical Drafting Teachers in the Division of Bacoor City.
The recent training consists of 9 modules: Residential Space Planning, Site Planning and Design, Feng Shui: It's Application in Architectural Design, AutoCAD: Basic Commands and Manipulation, AutoCAD: Constructing Floor Plans and Elevations, Architectural DWG Details, Plumbing Plans and Utilities, Electrical Plans and Utilities, and Construction Specifications.
After the semester-long training, trained TLE teachers may subject themselves to TESDA Assessment to further establish their skills and competencies as trainers of the young people who opt to choose Technology Vocational and Livelihood track of the K to 12 Enhanced Basic Education Program.
