Oath Taking for Senior High School Teachers

"A teacher with a heart for her children knows what teaching is all about. When asked what subjects she loved to teach, she answered this way and smiled "It's not the subjects that matter. It is all about teaching the child." Lifted from the "Heart of a Teacher" by Paula Fox, Dr. Ruth L. Fuentes, Schools Division Superintendent, reminded the teachers during the oath taking ceremony that their role transcends from being a subject teacher to teacher of the child.

On June 28, 2016, the Division of Bacoor City held the oath taking ceremony for the newly-appointed Senior High School Teachers at Revilla Hall, Bacoor City Hall, Bacoor City.

The oath taking ceremony was divided into two parts starting from the oath taking ceremony itself to the distribution of appointment paper to the newly-installed Senior High School teachers.

The program started with a solemn invocation led by Engr. Luis B. Cuenca, Teacher, Science and Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, Sineguelasan Senior High School. Dr. Cesar M. Mojica, Education Program Supervisor for Junior and Senior High Schools, warmly welcomed the teachers followed by the inspirational message of the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Ruth L. Fuentes who also administered the oath taking proper. The event ended with closing remarks led by Dr. Julieta R. De Jesus, Education Program Supervisor for English.

With the qualifications and talents of the newly-inducted SHS teachers, the Division of Bacoor City is assured that the implementation of the Senior High School Curriculum in the Division will be as efficient and effective as expected. (Galileo L. Go-Education Program Supervisor)
